Why healed work matters
Fresh tattoos all look sharp in photos. Healed work shows how an artist's lines settle and how the colours hold after the skin has recovered — the tattoo you will actually live with. Ask to see healed examples in your style.
When the price is the only thing you compare
A tattoo that needs correcting, a cover-up or medical treatment ends up costing more than one done well the first time — in money, in time, and in skin. None of that shows up in the first price.
