Who is responsible
The data controller is Tattoo Ink Side, the tattoo and piercing studio in Side, Antalya, Türkiye, which operates this website. For any privacy question or request, reply to any email you have received from us about your inquiry, or send a message through the inquiry form and say that it is a privacy request.
What we collect
- Your contact details: name, email address, and — only if you give it — phone number, country and preferred language.
- Your inquiry: the service you are interested in, your idea, style, placement, approximate size, colour preference, number of tattoos or people, travel dates, preferred date and time, hotel and area, and whether you would like pickup.
- Images you choose to send: references, drawings, photos of an existing tattoo or of the placement. Images are re-encoded when they arrive, which removes hidden metadata such as location data.
- Consent records: when you agreed to this policy and, if you sent images, to their use.
- Context: the page you sent the inquiry from and, if present, the campaign tags in the link (utm).
- Security: your IP address is used briefly to prevent abuse; only a one-way scrambled form of it is stored with the inquiry.
Please don't send health information
The form is not the place for medical details. Any health questions that matter for a tattoo or piercing are discussed with you in person.
Why we use it
We do not use your details for advertising, we do not send marketing emails, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own purposes.
- To review your idea, reply to you and prepare a personal quotation and an appointment — steps you ask us to take before any agreement.
- To use your images only for reviewing and discussing your inquiry — with your explicit consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the form secure and prevent spam and abuse.
Where it is stored and who receives it
The website and the inquiry records are hosted on a server in Germany (Hetzner Online GmbH, Falkenstein data centre). Your inquiry, including the images you send, is delivered by email to the studio's inbox through our email service provider. Because the server is outside Türkiye, submitting the form with your consent means you agree to this transfer abroad.
Nothing is sent to third parties for analytics or advertising.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records and images on the website server are deleted automatically after 180 days. Copies in the studio's email are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and any appointment.
Your rights
You can ask to see the details we hold about you, to correct or delete them, to restrict or object to their use, to receive them in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent at any time — reply to any email you have received from us, or send a message through the inquiry form. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK); in the EU, the authority in your country.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with its date. The version you agreed to is recorded with your inquiry.
